So, exhausted would definitely be the descriptive adjective for this morning. We stayed out pretty late last night. I definitely did not want to get up and go to class, but I did anyway…because I’m responsible and that’s what responsible kids do. Haha.
After class I headed back to my room to shower, then met up with Sarah and Candice as we struck out in search of food. We were craving something American…yes, hot, fried, and with roughly 9000 calories…so KFC it was. Candice did not approve of the fact they don’t have macaroni…but I still thought it was pretty good.
Afterwards we ran a couple of errands, then headed back to the dorm to do homework as usual. Good times.
After dinner, the three of us headed out to see the Oxford Shakespeare Company’s production of Romeo and Juliet in the Wadham college gardens. It was probably the most Oxford experience ever. The gardens were beautiful, surrounded with flowers, and the weather was awesome…at first. About halfway into the second act or so, it started pouring rain. I don’t even want to talk about how cold we were. Hypothermia. But we did get to see a BEAUTIFUL rainbow when it finally cleared up a little bit. Overall the show was pretty good…it had a weird, like, 50s theme, but it ended up being really good. I’m glad we went.
When we finally made it home after epic cold night, we changed and headed down to the pub for a little while, with every intention of just making an appearance then going back and going to bed. But then of course we started having fun and everyone was going out so we didn’t want to be left out. We went to a club called Kakui…every night clubs have specials for all the American students over studying so we can get in free and stuff like that. The club ended up being really cool. Blowfish instead of disco balls J I ended up leaving pretty early anyway, and heading home to catch up on some homework and go to bed.
